This grant program supports Native American tribal governments and organizations in preparing to assume all or part of Indian Health Service program functions under the Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act. It aims to develop and improve tribal health management capabilities through five to sixteen awards.
Eligible applicants are Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized) and Native American tribal organizations, including those not federally recognized.
