Supports voluntary, evidence-based home visiting programs that enhance maternal and child health, early childhood development, and family well-being. Funding is available to state governments and eligible nonprofits serving all 50 states and six U.S. jurisdictions. The program targets pregnant women and families with young children to provide supportive services through home visits.
Eligible applicants include state governments and nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status excluding institutions of higher education. Eligibility extends to all 50 states and six U.S. jurisdictions including DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa.
