This funding supports a year-long program to counter CCP influence in Panama's universities by creating sustained engagement opportunities between Panamanian students, faculty, and U.S. institutions. Funded activities include English-language programming, AI and emerging technology workshops, entrepreneurship initiatives, visiting speakers, research collaborations, and public discussions on academic freedom and research integrity. The initiative aims to establish enduring academic partnerships and increase American visibility on campuses.
Eligible applicants include public and state-controlled higher education institutions, private institutions of higher education, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding higher education institutions), and individuals.
