The International Co-Investigator Scheme funds Swiss researchers conducting cross-border projects that include subprojects abroad. It supports all disciplines with partner countries Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands, and humanities and social sciences with the UK. The scheme finances project evaluation and research activities but excludes salaries of co-applicants abroad. Applicants must comply with employment regulations in partner countries and adhere to SNSF submission deadlines and project limits.
Eligible applicants are researchers based in Switzerland with projects including a subproject abroad. International co-applicants must have at least 50% employment in their country. Only one application per deadline is allowed.
