The Visiting Scientist Program enables faculty-level scientists to conduct genomic and sequence-based research at JGI. Projects include de novo genome data generation, data interpretation, and technology development. Scientists must be self-funded; JGI provides workspace, expertise, and access. Length of stay varies based on project complexity and resource availability.
Open to faculty-level scientists who are self-funded and seek to use JGI resources for genomic research projects.
