This grant funds Wisconsin school districts or consortia to train high school students in advanced manufacturing and construction to address skilled worker shortages. Applicants must include at least one sparsity aid-eligible district and provide matching funds equal to or greater than grant funds. At least one third of funds are allocated to sparsity aid-eligible districts or consortia within a two-year budget cycle.
Eligible applicants are Wisconsin school districts or consortia including at least one district eligible for sparsity aid. Applicants must provide matching funds equal to or greater than grant funds received.
