This funding opportunity supports Testing Centers that develop in vivo and in vitro models, including new approach methodologies, to evaluate somatic cell genome editing technologies. Centers will create assays and SOPs to assess efficacy, safety, and feasibility of genome editing for human diseases, providing resources and fee-for-service testing to the biomedical community at local, regional, and national levels.
