This call funds transnational research and innovation projects aimed at strengthening sustainable water management by enhancing understanding of surface water, groundwater, and ecosystem interactions. Funded projects focus on integrated monitoring, nature-based resilient approaches, smart adaptive infrastructures, and systemic change for resilient water systems. Projects have a 36-month duration and target innovative solutions for water resource management.
Eligible applicants are researchers affiliated with Swedish higher education institutions, research institutes, or public authorities with research mandates that comply with Formas' grant administration requirements.
