This grant funds Southwestern law students to serve in unpaid, full-time summer clerkships (up to 10 weeks) with public interest, civil legal aid, or government agencies. It alleviates student loan burdens while providing practical legal training and education in public service. Selection is competitive and based on commitment to public service, experience, and faculty review.
Eligible applicants are Southwestern students seeking summer clerkships with local, state, or federal government agencies. Applicants must demonstrate alignment with public interest law and commitment to public service.
