The HARP Production program provides funding to subsidize production expenses of completed humanities and arts research projects. Eligible costs include book publication, permissions, CD recording, exhibits, and performances. Applications are reviewed biannually by panels focused on Humanities Research and Exhibition & Performance. Funding supports finalizing research outputs but excludes textbook completion.
Eligible applicants include tenured and tenure-track faculty, fixed-term faculty with multi-year appointments, certain one-year appointment faculty with departmental confirmation, academic specialists focused on research, and part-time faculty meeting specific criteria.
