This program funds rising sophomores in natural and social sciences to work closely with faculty for about 6 hours per week during the academic year. It provides work-study funded research opportunities emphasizing hands-on experience and career planning for students from first-generation, low income, or underrepresented backgrounds.
Eligible applicants are rising sophomores who qualify for work-study and belong to one or more of these groups: first-generation college students, low income/high need, or underrepresented racial/ethnic groups.
