This grant reimburses Texas registered nurses for specialized forensic nursing courses including SANE-Forensic Education, sexual assault simulations, and forensic photography bootcamps. It supports nurses working or planning programs in rural or medically underserved Texas areas and offers access to a Community of Practice for career growth and certification preparation.
Applicants must be registered nurses with at least 2 years' experience and a current Texas RN license. Primary work location or program plans must be in Texas rural or medically underserved areas. An NPI number is required.
