This program provides funding for projects under $100,000 that transform the Delta's social, economic, scientific, and physical infrastructure. It supports nature-based solutions to combat subsidence and greenhouse gas emissions, community enhancement through recreation and education, and ecosystem restoration to protect biodiversity and climate resilience. Projects may include restoration, research, education, tourism, cultural preservation, and disaster resilience initiatives within the legal Delta.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public agencies, and tribal governments. Projects must be located within the legal Delta region and focus on community, environmental, or scientific improvements.
