This funding supports regional projects aimed at improving wildfire resilience by enhancing local fire prevention capacity, forest health, and reducing wildfire spread risk into populated areas. Projects must be located within the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Zone. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public agencies, and tribal governments. Funds are available for encumbrance until June 30, 2028, and liquidation until June 30, 2031.
