This funding supports projects that protect biodiversity, restore landscape health, and achieve California's climate goals within the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Zone. Projects must reduce climate change risks to communities, fish, wildlife, or natural resources, or increase public access to nature. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public agencies, and tribal governments. Matching funds are not required, and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
