This grant program provides funding to California charter schools to cover annual facility expenses such as rent, lease, mortgage, debt service, and Proposition 39 payments. It also supports costs related to purchasing, designing, constructing, or renovating school facilities. Multiple funding rounds will be available starting with the 2025-26 school year, with awards dependent on applications received.
Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations and public agencies operating charter schools in California. Matching funds are not required.
