This grant funds collaborative projects to develop and test integration of quantum computing into high-performance computational workflows, enabling widespread adoption and user access. Projects should address key technical challenges in quantum-classical integration, focus on application-driven use cases, and contribute to the UK’s competitive quantum computing ecosystem. Funding supports up to three years with a fixed start date and requires collaboration with end-users and participation in UKRI Quantum Programme activities.
Applicants must be based at UK research organisations eligible for EPSRC funding. Eligible organisations include public sector, non-profit, and private sector entities. International collaborators can participate as project partners but cannot be project co-leads if based outside approved UK organis
