The Voluntary Airport Low Emissions Program (VALE) provides discretionary grants to commercial service airports in non-attainment or maintenance areas to finance projects that reduce airport emissions. Eligible activities include purchasing low-emission vehicles, installing refueling and recharging stations, gate electrification, and other improvements to meet Clean Air Act requirements. Applicants must be airport sponsors responsible for air quality compliance. Annual pre-application deadlines apply.
