Provides funding for environmental assessment and remediation of brownfield sites. Eligible applicants include community development corporations, nonprofits, EDICs, municipalities, and their agencies managing publicly owned sites with identified developers. Projects must start soon, address immediate funding gaps, and deliver public benefits such as blight elimination and job or housing creation. Awards up to $250,000 for site assessment and $750,000 for remediation.
