This residency supports emerging Native American visual, performing, and literary artists by providing a one-month stay at the Amerind Museum with housing, workspace, and a $3,000 stipend. Artists engage the public through talks or open studios and may sell their work. The program encourages exhibitions or events depending on the artist's work.
Eligible applicants include Tribal Governments, Arts/Creatives, and Nonprofit organizations. Artists must be emerging Native American artists with reliable transportation and able to reside at the museum for one month.
