This grant supports Australian SMEs to purchase manufacturing plant and equipment used directly in developing or delivering defence programs aligned with Sovereign Defence Industrial Priorities. It aims to build Australia's defence industrial base in strategic priority areas over a four-year period from 2024-25 to 2027-28.
Eligible applicants are Australian SMEs with less than 200 employees, an ABN, GST registration, and an Australian financial institution account.
