This grant supports Australian SMEs in the defence industry to improve and maintain security in strategic priority areas identified by Sovereign Defence Industrial Priorities. It funds projects aligned with the Defence Industry Security Program to build Australia's defence industrial base over four years from 2024-25 to 2027-28.
Eligible applicants are Australian SMEs with less than 200 employees, holding an ABN, registered for GST, and with an Australian financial institution account.
