This grant funds public water systems in small or disadvantaged communities to address emerging contaminants such as PFAS. Eligible activities include technical assistance, household water-quality testing for unregulated contaminants, local contractor training, and necessary state response actions to emerging contaminants. Projects must benefit these communities as defined by the Safe Drinking Water Act.
