The AmeriCorps Disaster Response Cooperative Agreement funds AmeriCorps grantees and sub-grantees that deploy national service participants to assist communities affected by disasters. Awards reimburse actual approved disaster-related costs incurred during deployment. Only organizations with an executed agreement are eligible for deployment and reimbursement through the AmeriCorps Disaster Response Team Program.
Eligible applicants are AmeriCorps grantees and sub-grantees, including AmeriCorps State, AmeriCorps Seniors, State Service Commissions, and AmeriCorps National Direct programs.
