Supports urgent actions in water protection, sacred places preservation, Native language preservation, and sustainable community agriculture. Grants address unforeseen emergencies requiring action within days or weeks, separate from regular grant cycles.
Eligible applicants are Native-led nonprofits or tribal governments with 501(c)(3) status or fiscal sponsorship. Applicants must serve tribal nations on the Colorado Plateau and be in good standing if past grantees.
