This grant funds Chemistry Festivals that emphasize chemistry's role in daily life through interactive activities for non-chemists. Events must follow ACS safety guidelines and can be held anytime, often linked to National Chemistry Week or Chemists Celebrate Earth Week. Grants up to $3000 support flexible event formats hosted by organizers outside the US and Puerto Rico.
Applicants must be principal event organizers living outside the United States and Puerto Rico. Collaborations with groups worldwide are encouraged. ACS membership is not required. Previous awardees must submit a final report before reapplying.
