This sponsorship funds renewed research stays of up to three months and short visits up to 30 days for Feodor Lynen, JSPS, and NSTC (Taiwan) Research Fellowship alumni working abroad. The funding supports daily allowances to facilitate joint research and academic exchange with members of the Humboldt Network in Germany or abroad. Travel expenses are not covered. Applications are submitted online with varying document requirements depending on the sponsorship type.
Eligible applicants are Feodor Lynen alumni and recipients of JSPS and NSTC (Taiwan) Research Fellowships who are permanently working abroad or hold tenured positions at research institutions abroad. Academic hosts need not be members of the Humboldt Network.
