Supports collaborative clinical research projects involving human subjects to obtain preliminary data that justify larger extramural studies. Encourages new interdisciplinary teams of clinicians, clinical researchers, and basic scientists at Jefferson. Projects must require IRB approval and align with institutional missions, fostering team science and clinician engagement.
Eligible applicants are faculty from Jefferson’s colleges and campuses conducting clinical research involving human subjects requiring IRB approval. Teams must include at least two key personnel from different disciplines employed at TJU or affiliates.
