The Jefferson Emerging Medical Scholars Program Junior Faculty Award provides up to $50,000 per year for two years to protect 20% effort plus fringe for early career clinician-scientists at Jefferson. Awardees can also apply for up to $25,000 in pilot funds to support clinical research projects, fostering career development with mentorship.
Eligible applicants are Jefferson faculty at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level within their first five years of appointment. Applicants must identify a faculty-clinician scientist mentor in their area of expertise.
