Focus areas include Families Facing Serious Illnesses, U.S. Military and their families, Disaster Preparedness and Response, Environment, and Placemaking. Applications require submission via Southwest's portal with IRS letter and must be submitted 60 days before the event or contribution date.
Eligible applicants are IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) organizations aligned with Southwest Airlines' strategic focus areas. Ineligible applicants include individuals, international organizations, government entities, schools, and certain other organization types.
