This microgrant program supports advanced testing for undiagnosed patients with a hot VUS or likely genetic conditions who have exhausted clinical care options. Funding covers short and long read genome sequencing, transcriptome, and epigenome analysis through Alamya Health. Applicants must provide counseling, obtain consent, and arrange sample shipment. Grants up to CAD 5,000 support projects with direct patient care impact and scientific validity.
Only physicians, DOs, or nurse practitioners are eligible to apply. Applicants must arrange blood draw and shipment at their own cost. Collaborators at Canadian or registered institutions are allowed.
