Catalyst Grants support initiatives that embed community-engaged civic learning into institutional structures like departments, policies, and governance. These grants provide resources and protected time for exploratory, cross-stakeholder work to produce concrete outputs such as pilot policies, curricular pathways, or formal recommendations by the end of the grant period.
Eligible applicants are Periclean institutions, each allowed one Catalyst Grant through Fall 2028. A second award may be possible for campuses showing significant progress and dissemination. Applications are encouraged for the 2026 cycle.
