The Periclean Faculty Leader Program awards grants to faculty for incorporating creative, high-impact pedagogy into courses that empower students to make positive change in their communities and revitalize democracy. Grants support either enhancements to existing courses or the design and launch of new courses developed with community partners. Projects may run from Spring 2026 through Fall 2028, with final reports due by December 2028.
Applicants must be full-time undergraduate faculty at Periclean institutions with a demonstrated long-term commitment. Prior grantees may reapply after one full academic year. Multiple grants per campus are possible through Fall 2028.
