This scheme provides up to £30,000 over one to two years to clinical lecturers for research costs like consumables and equipment. It supports gathering preliminary data to strengthen applications for longer-term fellowships. Funds cannot be used for salaries of new staff or students but can cover time of existing staff.
Applicants must be research-active clinical lecturers or equivalent veterinary clinicians with a PhD or MD, hold a medical, dental, or veterinary undergraduate degree, and be in higher speciality training.
