This program funds community and non-profit non-community water systems to identify and completely replace lead service lines, including removal of lead components, site restoration, and development of inventories. Disadvantaged communities may receive full principal forgiveness, while others may access zero interest loans with partial forgiveness. Projects must comply with DWSRF requirements and applications are submitted via FAAST.
Eligible applicants are community water systems and non-profit non-community water systems. Priority funding and loan forgiveness are available for systems serving disadvantaged communities.
