Supports capacity-building projects related to coastal management in the Lake Superior area. Grants range from $1,000 to $4,500. Eligible applicants include area-wide agencies, colleges/universities, conservation districts, joint powers boards, local governments, nonprofits, port authorities, public school districts, sanitary sewer districts, state agencies, and tribal governments/agencies. Applications can be submitted anytime using the capacity grant request form.
