The Farmer Rancher Grant Program offers competitive grants to farmers and ranchers to explore sustainable agriculture solutions through on-farm research, demonstration, and education. Projects can address pest management, crop and livestock production, food sovereignty, marketing, soil quality, energy, and more. Grants support individual farmers/ranchers up to $15,000 or teams up to $30,000, with projects lasting up to 23 months.
Eligible applicants are farmers and ranchers who initiate ideas for sustainable agriculture projects. Both individual farmers/ranchers and teams of two or more can apply.
