The Robert Scott Memorial Award provides £2,200 annually to UK-based postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, or lecturers, supporting research with at least 50% fieldwork. Preference is given to Arctic fieldwork in Arctic Circle areas and research on basin analysis topics including tectonics, structural geology, sedimentology, stratigraphy, and provenance analysis.
Eligible applicants are UK-based registered postgraduate students, university postdoctoral researchers, or lecturers. Postdocs and lecturers should preferably be within seven years of their first academic appointment.
