This award provides up to £750 annually to early career researchers based in the UK or Ireland for volcanic and magmatic fieldwork related to igneous research. Funding covers transport, accommodation, and field logistical support. Preference is given to applicants with prior VMSG conference presentations, membership in related societies, or limited fieldwork funds. The award may not be issued every year.
Applicants must be based in the UK or Ireland and be early career researchers: PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, or non-permanent university lecturers.
