Provides up to £750 travel funding for doctoral researchers to present at conferences, conduct fieldwork, or access laboratory facilities related to volcanic and magmatic studies. Supports students affected by unforeseen circumstances limiting their research funding. Preference given to members of VMSG parent societies. Eligible for UK and Irish PhD students who have presented at VMSG meetings.
Applicants must be PhD students enrolled at UK or Irish universities, have presented at a VMSG annual meeting, not have previously received this bursary, and apply for upcoming research-related travel. Preference is given to members of VMSG parent societies.
