The GitHub Secure Open Source Fund provides funding to help open source projects grow, maintain, and secure their software. Applications are accepted year-round, allowing continuous eligibility. Selected applicants must actively participate in program modules and comply with program requirements to receive support.
Applicants must be 18 or older, have an active GitHub profile, be core maintainers or delegates of the project, reside in supported regions, not be GitHub/Microsoft employees, and have an active, growing user base. Selected applicants must participate actively in program modules.
