Make It Maine supports residents, artists, and organizations in launching crowdfunding campaigns to bring creative projects to life across Maine. Funded projects activate public spaces through public art, cultural events, streetscape improvements, and community gardens. Projects must be accessible, community-focused, and located in Maine, with funds disbursed after successful campaigns.
Applicants must be residents of Maine with community-minded arts or placemaking ideas. Projects must be located in Maine and serve the public, complying with ADA guidelines. Eligibility is subject to program staff discretion.
