Terra Foundation Convening Grants support interdisciplinary and intercultural convenings—conversations, symposia, workshops—focused on the visual arts of the U.S. and Indigenous arts of North America. Funding covers costs such as professional fees, travel, AV support, interpretation, catering, dissemination, marketing, and administrative expenses. Eligible organizations include arts centers, museums, universities, and cultural organizations worldwide with tax-exempt status or international equivalent. Grants support in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats at any project stage.
Applicants must be U.S. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations or international equivalents. Grants are not made to individuals. U.S.-based applicants without tax-exempt status may partner with a fiscal sponsor. International applicants typically receive grants directly.
