This grant supports Feminist/Gender/Women’s Studies academic programs at community and state colleges in the Santa Cruz and Monterey areas. It funds programs that examine gender roles and power structures through intersectional feminist analysis. Applicants must demonstrate institutional support, sustainability plans, and participate in a collaborative network. Preference is given to programs led by women and gender-expansive individuals of color that integrate gender equity into policies.
Eligible programs are academic Feminist/Gender/Women's Studies departments at community and state colleges in Santa Cruz and Monterey. Must demonstrate institutional support via an Internal Memorandum of Understanding and prioritize leadership by women and gender-expansive individuals of color.
