This program funds clinical sites to implement and evaluate an Access Advocate model designed to increase inclusive participation in Parkinson’s disease clinical research. Funding supports roles that build relationship-based pathways to improve representative enrollment and retention in interventional PD trials. Sites must demonstrate strong PD study volume, implement workflows for participant identification and barrier assessment, track relevant metrics, and participate in cross-site learning.
Eligible applicants are clinical sites within the US and Canada with active or planned interventional Parkinson's disease clinical trials. Proposals must focus on clinic and trial connected access advocacy, not broad community outreach.
