This fellowship offers educators the opportunity to engage in authentic field research in Belize with T.R.E.E.S., including bat surveys, herpetology, fish species monitoring, coral reef health assessments, and beach cleanups. Participants explore biodiversity and human environmental impacts and learn to translate field discoveries into classroom lessons. The program runs from February 27 to March 6, 2027, providing 40 professional development hours.
Formal and informal educators worldwide may apply, with preference for science educators teaching middle school, high school, or university. Educators of any subject are welcome.
