This funding supports master's and doctoral students across Science, Engineering, Technology, Social Sciences, and Humanities for the 2027 academic year. Scholarships cover Full Cost of Study for South African citizens and Permanent Residents who are financially needy, living with a disability, or exceptional achievers. Partial Cost of Study funding is available to a limited number of international students and others meeting NRF criteria. Applications must be submitted via the NRF Connect System; continuing students must submit progress reports.
