This program offers North Dakota artists the chance to participate in regional training cohorts focused on large-scale, permanent public art installations and placemaking. Artists will engage in 3-4 rounds of training, including online workshops and approximately three-day on-site sessions led by prominent regional artists. Participants receive a $1,500 stipend plus travel, lodging, and per diem to support their development and eligibility for further funding.
Applicants must be North Dakota residents aged 18 or older, not enrolled full-time as students. Artists of all disciplines and experience levels are encouraged to apply. Travel for on-site training is required.
