This grant supports licensed Child Care Centers and Family Childcare facilities in Washington State with emergency relief capital funding. Eligible activities include reconstruction, repair, replacement, rehabilitation, or other facility improvements needed to restore safe and healthy early learning environments after disasters or immediate health and safety threats. Funding covers urgent facility damage not reimbursed by insurance or other sources, including insurance deductibles.
Eligible applicants are licensed Child Care Centers and Family Childcare facilities in Washington State that demonstrate urgent facility needs caused by emergency events such as wildfires, floods, or severe weather.
