Community Impact Grants support large-scale, community-initiated park improvement projects on City of Austin parkland. Funded activities include playground equipment, shade structures, trails, habitat restoration, picnic tables, ADA accessibility, and placemaking. Grants emphasize community participation, broad support, and strong matching funds. Applications are accepted twice yearly with a 24-month grant period.
Eligible applicants include Adopt-A-Park groups, neighborhood associations, and other park stakeholder groups. Projects must take place on parkland owned and managed by the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department.
